ACAI Outdoorwear was created in 2016 by wife-and-husband team Kasia and Joe Bromley following Kasia’s frustration at the attitude towards women’s outdoor clothing. Having studied fashion at university and worked previously at Alexander McQueen and an outdoor clothing brand, Kasia saw an opportunity to create a truly female first, stylish yet performance-led outdoors brand.
Driven by the brand’s passion for new product development and building a global community, ACAI is leading the way and changing the perception of what women’s technical outdoor clothing can be, operating in a real white space within a large established market.
ACAI has established a strong and purposeful evergreen and sustainable ethos, with environmental impact at the forefront of decision making across its operations, product ranges and packaging designs. Kasia and Joe ensure that its ranges are designed to be both timeless and built to last, whilst incorporating unique technical features that give the quality and style that its customers want.
ACAI has also launched its Outdoorsing mission – a movement supported by a diverse group of women, including Kirsty Gallacher, Helen Skelton, and Gabby Logan, which aims to encourage and inspire more women to embrace the outdoors and benefit from fresh air and time spent together with like-minded people.
Growth Partner partnered with Kasia, Joe and the ACAI team at the end of 2022 at an exciting time for the business as it looks to continue to build on its product ranges and brand profile in the UK, whilst exploring new international opportunities.
